Cool Way To Make Some Easy $ (newbies give this a shot)

So about a month ago I stumbled upon something pretty cool. It is about as hands-off as it gets and is something literally anyone can do. The reason I am sharing this here is I think it could be perfect for some new IM'ers looking to get some consistent income while they work toward the big picture.

This won't make you rich, but it can definitely earn you a few hundred bucks per month. When you take into account the amount of time you need to set this up, it is a no brainer.

Essentially what you are going to be doing is promoting incentivized CPA offers, and paying on a CPA basis. This means that if your offer pays $1.50 and you are paying $1.00 per action, you make a guaranteed 50 cents each time someone fills out the offer. This may not seem like much but if you get a few of these campaigns running and are getting 50+ leads a day, you are looking at some decent extra cash for very little effort.

Overview
Basically what you are going to be doing is promoting incentivized CPA offers on the Adknowledge Offer Wall campaign platform. For those of you who aren't familiar, Adknowledge is an advertiser marketplace like Google Adwords or Microsoft Adcenter. Category-based PPC traffic is their main focus but they also have this little thing called Offer Wall Campaigns.

Offer Wall Campaigns are campaigns that anyone can create and only pay on a CPA basis. This means that you are only paying per lead that they generate for you. The nice thing about this is that you don't really have to worry about tracking keywords or any of that stuff, you pay for results only.

The thing about these Offer Wall Campaigns is that they are promoted on Adknowledge's gaming and social network. In these networks, people who fill out your offer will be rewarded with social currency like points for a game they are playing. This means that you can only promote incentivized CPA offers on this platform.

This is what you need to do
First, you need to become an affiliate of a few incentivized CPA networks. I recommend that you go to Affpaying.com and browse the networks there for some additional ideas, but here are the networks I used when testing this out:

Content Locking & Incentivized Affiliate Network | BLAM Ads Content Locking
Incentivize - Incent TheWay™
https://www.adworkmedia.com/
CPAPATH - CPA Network - Mostly non-incent but the offers they do have pay well.

Once you are a member of an incentivized CPA network you should look for all the highest-paying email/zip submit offers. You want to use these types of offers because the people filling them out are in the middle of a game and don't want to fill out some gigantic form (you can always test this with some longer form submits but I personally found email submits to be the best). Choose a few offers that you think look good and pay well. I would shoot for at least $1.30/submit. If you go much lower than this your profit margins are going to be very small and you will not make much money at all.

How to set up an Offer Wall Campaign
First you will need to create an advertiser account on Adknowledge. This is easy and you will be up and running in no time. You will have to fund your account before you run any campaigns and the minimum is $50. If this seems like a lot, you will see very shortly that you are in no risk of losing this money.

Once you have funded your account click the "new campaign" button. You will see the option to advertise on their long tail, mobile, or offer wall network. Select offer wall and name your campaign and ad group.

Next up you need to write your ad. You can include an image but if not Adknowledge will add something generic for you. Write your ad copy, include your affiliate link, and your thank-you page url (this is the url the visitor will see after filling out your offer). After that select what countries your offer should be shown in.

Now all you have left to do is select how your daily budget and how much you want to pay per conversion. My account manager told me not to bid much less than $1.00 but I have found that 90 cents works pretty well. That may not seems like much of a difference but those ten cents can add up over the course of a day.

Lastly, you will need to place the Adknowledge conversion pixel on your CPA offer. Some CPA networks give you the option to do this in their dashboard while others require you to give the pixel to your affiliate manager. The first campaign I created had a problem with the tracking pixel so I got a bunch of free leads and had to shut it down. From that point on Adknowledge required that I test each pixel before I start the campaign which takes a while. For this reason I suggest you double check that the pixel has been placed correctly each time so you don't have to do a bunch of back and forth with Adknowledge and your CPA network.

Your next steps
In order for you to make this worth your while I suggest you create at least three campaigns. See which campaigns are bringing you a decent amount of conversions and drop the ones that don't. Replace the poor performing campaigns with new campaigns that you want to test. The great thing about this is that it does not cost you any money to test since you only pay on a CPA basis.

I'm sure some of you are thinking, "Why not create 500 campaigns and rake in the cash?" I had this thought at first as well. What I discovered is that there is a limited number of spaces that your campaigns are shown, and there are a bunch of other advertisers promoting Offer Wall campaigns. I did not see much increase in traffic and earnings after my third campaign I created. This is why I recommend you test three at a time, so you can get the most traffic per campaign.

Go out there and try it!
I hope some of you give this a shot and create some campaigns. As I said before, I think this could be nice for some of the newer IM'ers looking for a little income to fund their bigger projects. It is pretty much as simple as I described but if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
