How To Avoid Cell Phone Scratches

Keep your cell phone looking brand new with this next-to-free protective cover that will last longer than the original.

1.Measure and mark

Measure your screen with the ruler and use the marker to mark the width on the packing tape before you unroll the tape. Then add an inch to your height measurement and mark that on the tape.
2.Cut
Cut the marked piece of tape as straight as possible. Peel it from the roll starting at the top, where the excess tape is marked.
Tips:Hold the tape by the excess inch. This prevents fingerprints and prevents the tape from getting hung up on anything.
3.Soak
Submerge the piece of tape completely in a bowl of water with a few drops of dish soap and soak it for several seconds. Avoid making the water too sudsy.
4.Place on phone
Make sure the tape and your hands are free from debris. Then, put a drop or two of water on your cell phone's screen and apply the tape, sticky-side down, starting at the bottom. Center the tape on the screen.
5.Squeegee
Remove excess water and air bubbles with the credit card, using it like a squeegee. Push from the bottom to the top. Then blot excess water from the screen with a tissue.
6.Remove excess tape
Carefully cut off the excess tape at the top just below the faceplate surface.
7.Avoid scratching back
Avoid scratching other parts of your cell phone by always placing it in a separate pocket from your keys and loose change, or in a separate compartment in your handbag.

How To Pick a Lock

Locked out of your house in the middle of the night? Have you lost the key to the padlock on your shed? Before you pay a locksmith to let you in or to open something up, consider picking the lock yourself. Most locks around the home or office are simple pin-and-tumbler locks and can be relatively easy to open using a pick and tension wrench, both of which can be improvised from common household items.
While the process is simple and can be mastered with practice, picking such a lock requires a great deal of patience. To pick locks, a person has to insert a thin metal pin or needle, moving the pin around until hearing a click or a gear shift. This article will show you what to do.
1. Understand how your lock works. The pin-and-tumbler lock consists of a cylinder that can rotate within its housing (see the illustrations below). When locked, the cylinder is kept in place by several pairs of pins. The top pin of each pair protrudes into both the cylinder and the housing, thus preventing the cylinder from turning. When the correct key is inserted, it pushes the pairs of pins up so that the top pins no longer enter the cylinder. When this happens, the cylinder can be turned and the lock will open.
2.Purchase a pick and tension wrench. Each pick is specialized for a different problem. A tension wrench, or torque wrench, is the device you use to apply pressure to turn the lock cylinder. Professional-grade picks and tension wrenches can be purchased in sets (see picture), but many lock picking hobbyists make good quality sets of their own. See the Things You'll Need section below for information on how to make your own picks and tension wrenches.
3.Place the tension wrench into the lower portion of the keyhole
4.Determine which way the cylinder must be turned to unlock the lock. If you commonly use the lock, you probably already know which way you turn the key to open the lock. If you don’t know, use the tension wrench to apply torque to the cylinder, first clockwise and then counterclockwise. The cylinder will only turn a fraction of an inch before it stops. Try to feel the firmness of the stop. If you turn the cylinder the wrong way, the stop should feel very firm and stiff. If you turn it the right way, there should be a bit more give.
5.Apply light torque to the tension wrench in the correct direction, and hold. The required torque will vary from lock to lock and from pin to pin, so this may require some trial and error. Start gently, though.
6.Insert the pick into the upper part of the keyhole and feel the pins. With the pick in the keyhole, you should be able to press up and feel the individual pins with the tip of the pick. You should be able to push them up and feel them spring back down when you release the pressure. Try to push each one all the way up. Identify which one is the hardest to push up. If they're all very easy to push up, turn the tension wrench more to increase the torque. If one won’t go up at all, ease the torque until you can push it up. Alternatively, you may wish to “rake” the pins before this step.
7.Push the stubborn pin up until it “sets.” Press the stubborn pin with just enough pressure to overcome the downward pressure of the spring. Remember, the pin is actually a pair of pins. Your pick is pushing against the lower pin, which in turn pushes against the upper pin. Your goal is to push the upper pin completely out of the cylinder. Then, when you stop pushing, the lower pin will fall back down into the cylinder, but the torque on the cylinder will result in a misalignment of the hole in the cylinder with the hole in the housing, and the upper pin should then rest on the cylinder without falling back down. You should hear a faint click as the upper pin falls back down on top of the cylinder. You should also be able to push the lower pin up a little with no resistance from the spring—when this occurs you most likely have the upper pin “set.”
8.Continue applying torque and repeat the last two steps for each of the remaining pins. It is imperative that you maintain torque on the cylinder to prevent the set pins from dropping back down. You may need to make slight increases or decreases in torque for each pin.
9.Use the tension wrench to turn the cylinder and unlock the lock. Once all the pins are set, you should be able to turn the cylinder. Hopefully you have already ascertained the correct direction to turn it. If you have chosen the wrong direction, you will need to start over and reset all the pins.

Warning:
  • If a pin won’t budge when you try to push it up, you are probably applying too much torque so that the cylinder is too greatly misaligned with the hole in the housing. If this is the case, you’ll need to release some of the torque. Doing so may cause pins to fall that are already set. Unfortunately, there’s no way around that. Try changing the order of your picking on your next attempt.
  • When done properly, lock picking does not harm the lock, but if you apply too much torque to the cylinder or too much pressure to the pins, there is always the risk of damaging the mechanism.
  • There are varying laws on lock picking, owning lock picks, and creating improvised tools. Most US states have specific laws in their criminal codes that define possession of "burglars tools" as a distinct and separate crime, but how this crime is defined varies among states. Check the laws for your area. And obviously, only ever pick your own locks!

How to Give Youths Freedom

All youths at a certain age want to have a bit of freedom. You have to give them some freedom so they feel better about themselves and they actually want to be trusted. If parents build this up now it will be easier in the future to trust them. Let them be free because inside they feel limited give them a bit of freedom so they do not feel so restricted.
1.Leave them with small jobs like shopping and popping down to the shop.

2.Let the youth go out with their friends but not too often.

3.Let them go to particular parties with their friends.

4.If the youth has a boyfriend make sure you know him before they go out and set a particular time for them to come back

5.Make sure he/she knows that you trust them make the message loud and clear for them

6.Youths want some space so give it to them but not too much.

How to Find Great Music

If you've downloaded every song you could possibly think of, and you want something fresh to listen to, then follow the steps below.

1.Find new music. If you wanna find a specific genre or type of music (Ex: pop, techno, rock, etc.) You can look up a band or artist that you like. Look it up on Google, (Ex: [name of band] lyrics) If you look at this for the first time on Google, usually it will have pictures and maybe a music video of the band. You could also just look it up onYouTube. Type the name of the band you want, and it might have a song you haven't heard or you might find remixes that you like. If you have Limewire search in what's new in audio you can find some great new stuff.
2.Find free music at Jamendo or Magnatune.
3.Use music recommendation; such as imeem or last.fm.
4.Talk to friends. Sometimes they might have a certain song that fits in perfectly into your life. Maybe it's just what you were looking for.
5.Love popular music? Like Akon or Paramore, try more music or watch t.v. If there's a show or movie you really like, and they played a song you really like but don't know the name of, look it up. (sometimes it's tricky to find). If you keep looking it might just be there.
6.Make your own playlist. It's not something you need to do, but it helps. If you download music onto your computer, it's good to write down the names of your songs or print them off the computer; just in case something was ever to happen.
7.Have a computer? Make suggestions with a service like last.fm.

How to Get People to Like Your Facebook Status

"I lost my 1,000th guitar pick today--I bet they all meet under my bed and gossip about me while I sleep :("
This Facebook status was written casually and quickly, thinking it might get a couple chuckles out of some friends. When the user awoke the next day, low-and-behold, it had upwards of 15 likes. Is the person who wrote it that popular? No. Was that status incredibly epic? No, it bordered on stupid. But it was appealing to a significant number of people somehow. If people don't pay attention to your Facebook status posts, it's not the end of the world. But it is nice to know that people think you have something interesting to say and these posts are the way to say it.
1.Write to be funny. Possibly the top reason people use the internet today is to be entertained, namely, to get a quick laugh. Hopefully a minimal amount of you disagree with this. Write about a silly observation or experience that occurred during the day. Some of you might say "but Hank, I'm not funny and funny things never happen to me." Yes, you are and yes, they do. Haven't you every thought during a point in the day "Why can I wear a sock on the other foot but not a shoe?" or "Don't these pigeons know how much this new car cost?" There's your likable status, or at least the seed of a great humorous Facebook status. Keep trying this option if it doesn't work the first time. Humor is a muscle, a very hilarious muscle, that works the same on Facebook as it does in real life.
2.Write about an achievement. Friends care for one another and should rejoice when you rejoice; this is how achievement statuses work. Write about anything from the birth of your first baby to finding great tickets for a great concert. Your friends, especially your mother (and besides that jealous friend who really shouldn't be jealous) will like your status simply because they're happy for you. You could even mix this with the funny status and write about how you can, in fact, make a bologna sandwich without using your hands. There is a fine line, however, between rejoicing over your son returning home from military deployment earlier than expected and rejoicing over the Smurf movie being released on DVD earlier than expected.
3.Write for a personal good. This goes along the lines of achievement, but this option is for when you're not necessarily shooting for maximum likes. Here you can tag your friends and reminisce over the time you got hit by a foul ball at the baseball game last week or when you all tried the Diet Coke+Mentos thing in a parking lot yesterday night. These friends will especially be inclined to like this status, and even other friends of these friends will like it, wishing they were there to participate in your amazing status tale. Inside jokes might work here too, but be careful: the more "inside" the joke is, the less likes you'll get. And don't be too personal; what is and isn't appropriate as a Facebook status is a whole other topic.
4.Write about things your friends already like. Think about what you have in common with your Facebook friends. Taste in music? Sports? Bacon? Post your favorite music video in a genre you and your friends love. Make a bold prediction about your favorite sports team. Post an enticing bacon recipe with an eye-catching picture.

How to Earn a Six Figure Income Online

With all of the scams and programs that are all over the Internet, it is hard to find a real way to make good money online. Even with well known business models like eCommerce and affiliate marketing, it takes a long time to even make one small sale. However, there is a business opportunity called website flipping that has an unlimited earning potential without having to sign up for anything, join scams, do hard work for small earnings, or having large amounts of start-up capital. Read more to find out how you can flip your way into making a true six figure income or more online, each year.

Instructions:
1.Choose a topic you enjoy. It is important to pick one that you are familiar with, so you can create many interesting articles about it.
2.Purchase a domain name and web hosting from any hosting company. Make sure your domain name works well with the topic you have chosen.
3.Start building your website by using the simple builder tools inside of your control panel. Most hosting companies give you simple tutorials on how to build a website.
4.Begin writing content and articles about your topic. Add photos to your articles and set up a mailing list. Make your site look as nice as possible. If you dread writing a lot of articles, hire a freelancer to write the articles for you. It is very cheap, and a fast way to get great articles on your website.
5.Make sure you have some sort of money maker on your website before you start promoting it. You could promote an affiliate product related to your site's topic, or you could use Google Adsense. Your goal is to get your site to make the most money possible, so if you have lots of ways to make money on your site, then you will most likely make lots of money.
6.Start promoting and advertising your website now that it has great content and money-making tools. Create Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter pages for your site. Write articles on Article Base about your site. Post flyers and create business cards. In simple words, just get your site out there.
7.Watch the money start rolling in. After around a week or so of promoting, you should start to see lots of money coming into your Paypal account. Just try to make as much money as possible. Also, keep promoting your site and keep adding articles.
8.Keep track of how much money you make each month. You will need this info for the last few steps.
9.After six months, calculate your total six months revenue from your site and multiply this by 2. Assuming that you leave the site the same, the next six months will probably bring in the same amount of revenue if not more. Instead of keeping your website, sell it.
10.Try to find a buyer. Instead of posting your site for sale on a marketplace, think of types of companies that could use your site. For example, if you have a blog about dogs, a new dog toy company may be interested in it.
11.Set your price. Usually, websites sell for 3-5 times the yearly revenue. So if you had a blog for six months that made $30,000 in those six months, your yearly revenue would be about $60,000. You could then sell your site for $180,000 or more depending on your buyer. Bigger companies are most likely to spend larger amounts of money on a website than small companies are.
12.You just flipped your first website. Congratulations! You could take that money and spend it, or if you are smart, you could reinvest some of it back into another website. If you repeat for the next six months, you will have a very healthy income. Do this yearly, and you could eventually be flipping websites for millions of dollars.
